MedizinischeUniversitaet Wien (MUV)
The Medical University of Vienna is the largest medical research institution in Austria. It was founded in 1365 as a Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna and operates as an autonomous university since 2004. The Section for Science of Complex Systems pursues quantitative complex systems research – ranging from life science, quantitative social sciences, to applied mathematics and fundamental physics.
Main tasks in the project:
MUV will be involved in the harmonization and integration of different approaches to AB modelling of financial markets; in particular researcher will extend existing AB models to leverage, crisis and regulation. Moreover MUV will also have the task of connecting the financial model to the macro model in order to understand, forecast and possibly prevent the formation of bubbles and crisis and to enhance financial stability.
